Consultation

Nancy Abel, LCSW, LADC, is a seasoned psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience.  Her office is located at 1486B Broadway in South Portland; her phone # is (207) 774-2550.  Nancy does individual and group consultation for therapists, as well as those who wish to become consultants.  She has a broad general psychotherapy practice with a speciality working with addictions and trauma.  She is particularly interested in complex PTSD.  She has presented at several conferences on addictions, cognitive interweave and consecutive day EMDR.  In addition, she and John O’Brien have co-authored two articles on addictions and trauma which were published in the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research.
