A Useful Tool For Setting Up EMDR Targets
This four hour workshop will address setting up targets by learning the targeting sequence treatment plan. Participants will have the opportunity to practice setting up the target and practicing a session. Review of how the targeting sequence plan is used in the overall treatment approach within the 3 pronged treatment will be emphasized.
Learning Objectives
1. Participants will learn how to set up a targeting sequence plan.
2. Participants will learn how the targeting sequence plan is integrated in the 3 pronged EMDR treatment approach.
3. Participants will practice the first target of the targeting sequence plan.
About the Presenter :
Celia Grand, LCSW, BCD, is in private practice in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, specializing in trauma treatment of adults and couples. She is on the faculty of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, an EMDR Institute facilitator, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. She is currently serving on the EMDRIA Regional Coordinator Committee and was a past Board of director with the EMDR International Association.
Celia is well known for her expertise in treating trauma, consulting to therapist and teaching about trauma by integrating both EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Celia has been co-leading experiential women spiritual retreats in Virginia since 1995.
All EMDR fully trained clinicians interested in advanced training, networking, and research are invited to attend. Our regional gatherings consist of a business meeting, a presentation, and time to network. EMDRIA CEU’s pending. Participants must be Fully trained but need not be EMDRIA members to attend.
